TEDA Hall of Honor
The Texas Educational Diagnosticians’ Association Hall of Honor Award is the highest honor given by TEDA to recognize members, former members, and others who have made significant contributions to the organization.

Who may nominate?
Any current member of TEDA may nominate candidates for the Hall of Honor.

Guidelines:
1. Nominee must have given exemplary service to TEDA
2. No more than two people per year will be honored with this award.
3. Nominee may be a TEDA member or former TEDA member or other who has made a significant contribution to TEDA.
4. Nominee must have practiced as a diagnostician for a minimum of five years.

Wilma Jo Bush Award
The Wilma Jo Bush Award is an honor given by the Educational Diagnosticians’ of the Golden Spread (EDGS) to recognize TEDA members or former TEDA members, who have made significant contributions as an Educational Diagnostician.

Wilma Jo Bush, Ph.D., a recognized leader in the field of special education in the 1970’s, has taught and inspired many educators throughout the Texas Panhandle. She has authored numerous books which have been published and used extensively in universities throughout the world. At the conception of P.L. 94-142, she trained many diagnosticians, but more importantly, she was our mentor and friend.

Who may nominate?
Any current member of TEDA may nominate candidates for the Wilma Jo Bush Award.

Guidelines:
1. Nominee must have given exemplary service as an Educational Diagnostician.
2. Nominee must be a TEDA member or former TEDA member.
3. Nominee must have practiced as an Educational Diagnostician for a minimum of three years.
